The results aren't all that great but it was a good learning experience and fun. On Saturday contacts were made on 2mtrs, 70CM, and 6 meters even with the low activity out where I was in the desert. My location in DM13sf had a great shot east and southeast but another mountain north and west. Sunday did have an opening east from my home in DM13tf but all I was running was a delta loop at 20ft and a 756Pro. The portable set up was an FT857D, 6M5 at 20ft, 6mtr squalo at 8ft, and an Elk 2/70CM log periodic at 15ft all run off a series 24 deep cycle battery. It was 105F in the desert and about 10degress less up on the mountains. If farmer tan becomes an Olympic sport I'll try for the gold.
