It is with great sadness that I learned this morning of the passing of another avid
VHF operator, Dave Vore, K8WW. Dave was very active on a number of VHF and UHF
bands, and built a 9 element YU7EF yagi with elevation to work 6m EME. I know how
pleasantly pleased he was to work me during my 6m EME DXpedition last year to KH8,
and his dedication and perseverance to constantly improve his station were an
inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing and contacting him. Thanks to
Dave for furthering the hobby and bringing happiness to others. His enthusiasm will
be greatly missed. RIP
VY 73, Lance

Folks,
Just saw this on the EME Reflector. As reported by his wife via his email address,
K8WW is SK.
Most of us have worked Dave many times.
Another great one has passed.
Sincerely,

Good morning,
My name is Sandy and I am Dave's wife. I am writing to let you know that he suffered
from a heart attack and past away last night. If you know of friends he may have
had through this communication, please share his passing. Â
Thanks
