 I suppose I am NEW to 6 meters by some standards. 1996.
however, after 70 Countries & 500 + grids. & a FEW 6 meter dxpeditions.
I am comfy saying this !  It's NOT only NEW guys that sit on the call FREQ,
or even in the DX windows. I have HEARD a few OLD timers do it also.

Be SURE to be polite and let them know they are on top of DX and they need
to move out of the window..THEY may not be able to hear the DX...so if they
don't they don't realize they are possibly clobbering others...
