JT6M was the first mode specifically developed for working meteor scatter on 6m.  It 
is similar to FSK441, but is slower and more sensitive for the longer bursts 
typically encountered on 50 MHz.

ISCAT was developed as an even more sensitive mode to use during marginal ionospheric 
propagation (such as multihop Es), but JT6M is still quite popular when signals are 
stronger such as on meteor scatter.   Joe introduced ISCAT in WSJT9, "ISCAT is a new 
mode that replaces JT6M. It has significantly better performance on the propagation 
paths where JT6M has been popular, such as tropospheric and ionospheric scatter and 
weak Es or F2 on 6 meters. If you liked and used JT6M, you will like ISCAT even better."

Several people have mentioned recently that in the WSJT 10.0 r3769 beta
release, "click-on-spectrum-to-decode" during the Rx sequence does not
work in JT6M mode.

Also, the "Freeze" box is not visible in JT6M mode.

These deficiencies have been corrected in WSJT 10.0 r4064, which is
available for download at

Please give it a try -- and please report on your experiences with this
beta release!
