[50mhz] [6 Meter Sked] Is 6 meters getting worse?

I don't know. I think the conditions are improving on 6.. maybe a little slow at times but it is improving. I listen around at different times and find a few contacts here and there and sometimes it is dead but it is improving. I have made several contacts to the west but very few to the east. I check at different times of the day and best times to the east is before daybreak. About 4 0r5 in the morning.  I managed to get my beam repaired and that greatly helped. The dipole didn't help much at all. Using an Icom 551D, Swan 250, And the Icom 7700.

Definitely, conditions are worse.

During the early 2000's, we were still in the last sunspot maximum, and conditions were frequently outstanding.

Back then, I had big hopes for the next cycle.  Sadly, this one has turned out to be the worst maximum in a long time.

Even E-prop has been awful.

I've only worked EU a few times this season.

Does anyone else have the impression that propagation on 6m has gotten worse over the past few years.  It seems that at my QTH, at least, the opening are fewer and farther between that before.  Back around 2001-2005 or so it seemed like we would get openings at least every other day during the summer, and usually every day.  Now it seems like it is only once or twice a week. 

Anyone else have this impression?  Maybe I am just too busy now and missing the openings when they do occur.  The past few years have had some of the best 2m Es openings I have ever seen, though.
