Midland Syntech I, II or XTR.....cant beat them.....(I have several for
sale)

Antenna....Mobile or base? Mobile Larsen NMO150 (I have some for sale too;
new with mounts, etc)...

Base, you can get anything..I have LOTS of DB201s in storage....They take
lightning forever! :)
Or the Dominator 5/8 but its somewhat overkill....and difference between 1/4
and 5/8 is not noticeable on 6...
ALWAYS get a DC grounded antenna...it will help drain off the static noise
