Hi Eric,

Most of the weak signal work on 6m uses the WSJT weak signal digital modes of JT65A 
or ISCAT (for multihop Es) or FSK441 for random meteor scatter contacts.  You can 
find out what is going on with the meteors and FSK441 mode by looking at this web page:

For USB, your best bet is to look for stations between 50.125 and 50.175.
