Hello!
In lieu of any formal on-line petition, we have been advised to send as many email
letters as possible in support of 6m being allowed in Thailand. Per the attached
instructions, Please send such letters of support to either of the following:
hq at rast.or.th <mailto:hq at rast.or.th>
hs2jfw at yahoo.com
Thank you very much for taking the time to do this, and for sharing this information
with other hams and organizations. VY 73, Lance

Hello Lance,
Yes, I have talk to NBTC about long term license. They said that it would be nice if
we have some letter from the world to request Thailand on 6m for some petition
contest or experimental. Everything are ready. Just need support letter from 6m
operators.
Toshi is the guy who contact to Japan side. He also join at Tokyo HAM Fair and will
intruduce this news to all Japan 6m operators.
You can sent your letter direct to my email or hq at rast.or.th <mailto:hq at rast.or.th>.
Sure that will forward you letter to NBTC for consideration.

Do you know anything about a petition being formed to encourage the Thai government
to grant full 6m privileges? I certainly would want to submit my name and callsign
in support of this, but I can't find such a petition anywhere in this email :-( Your
guidance would be greatly appreciated! MNI TNX and VY 73, Lance

I am sending this to other 6m groups to gain your support to Toshi's plea of helping
convince the government of Thailand to extend 50mHz privileges there.
A temporary operating permit was granted last month for only 2 days of contesting,
and it is a good time to capitalize on the successful demonstration of spectrum
coexistence.
Please help our 6m enthusiast friends get on the air full-time in Thailand by signing
a petition on their behalf to the address included. Unexpected International support
results in great interest with matters of good will to foreign administrations.
Many may end up with "A New One" as a result of your assistance today.
(Kindly forward this message to other 6m boards where this does not appear, in order
to reach others. I am not signed up for many I know exist. Tnx.)
