Hello Bill,

MNI TNX for the news about your 6m operation again from OM!  I am sure you will be 
quite successful on Es, and also have will have a number of people looking for JT65A 
mode skeds with you on your moonset!  A kw and 5 element beam is plenty for 6m EME if 
you have good ground gain....and I recall that you DO have that from your QTH over 
there ;-)  A growing number of 6m stations have been adding enlarging their arrays 
and adding elevation so they can match the moonset windows of DXpedition operations 
such as yours.

When I go on 6m EME DXpeditions, I take LMR600UF because of its low loss - it has 
half the loss of RG213.  HOWEVER, your 60' of RG213 still only has 0.8 dB loss, so I 
am sure you would not benefit from any mast mounted preamp, and doubt you would ever 
notice 0.4 dB reduction in feedline loss.

In response to your request for hints to maximize your success on 6m EME this summer, 
my suggestions are that you:

1.   use a good low noise 6m preamp in the shack next to the receiver.
2.   coordinate your EME frequency and activities on the ON4KST EME chat page.
3.   schedule your EME activity during the days of lowest Degradation.  The best days 
for 6m EME during your operation this summer are June 10-11, June 22-28 and July 8-9.
