 Don't forget about 6AM also (50.400) and 6 PSK (50.290). Working someone in
other modes is
as exciting as working a new grid or new state. Listen for a signal and
jump in.

 A few years ago I picked up several 8.4MHz xtals for 50.4 AM with my old
rigs ( Gonsets, HiBander, etc) hoping a couple of local guys would want to
start an AM net on 6 but there weren't any takers. My Ranger is hooked up
with a 6N2/6N2 VFO and HQ-170A/VHF, backed up by a Seneca and SB-301 with
converters. Will get back on PSK when a new laptop shows up...old one died
after years on the road.
