I was just wondering how many dedicated 52.525FMers were left out here...
Our numbers seem to be decreasing... I'm on during just about every major
and minor Contest with 6 Meters (mostly from the Caboose at the Railroad),
and I've gotten to the point where unless the band opens, I'm just workin
the same guys over and over again...
It may be time to put 6 Meters away and goto 10 Meters FM (29.6Mhz) full
time... There'd sure be more Contests to play in...
But I'll stick it out on 6 Meters for one more year in the Caboose...
I'll be in the Caboose (EN91or) on 52.525FM for the following...
CSVHFS SPRING SPRINT MAY12 2300Z-MAY13 0300Z 2012
ARRL JUNE VHF JUNE09-11
SMIRK JUNE16-18
QCWA SEP QP SEP07-08
ARRL SEP VHF SEP08-10
CX SEP PHONE SEP16
I'll also be on 52.525FM for Field Day (as K8QQQ), CQ WW VHF from a State
Park, and the UKSMG/MARITIME QP/MUSEUM SHIPS WEEKEND from a State Park...
If I'm not completely burned out or fed up, then I'll do the SVHFS OCT
SPRINT OCT27-28 from a State Park too...
There's the possibility of doing OSPOTA, but only if they allow FM again...
