Mike, G3WPH, indicated they are getting another 200w output, so they are running 720
watts output now to their 6M8GJ yagi. They will be active for each of the 3 more
moonsets and 3 more moonrises. They are also having good success during their
moonsets, even though the the antenna only looks out over water on their moonrise.
They have elevation up to 30 degrees, so manually elevate when the moon is above
their ground gain lobes.
They usually call on 50.205 and listen on 50.232, but you should check on the ON4KST
EME chat page first because sometimes, they have to move their receive frequency
because of birdies. They always transmit first sequence JT65A. So far, the smallest
station they have decoded is S59A with his single 9 element yagi.
They also have been active on 6m in the evenings on Terrestrial modes and have worked
over 100 NA stations that way so far. Here is the latest news from Mike at T32C,
just received:
The photo shows on the left Michael DG1CMZ shaking hands with Mike G3WPH (right)
after first succesful EME QSO with W7GJ on 50MHz. The 6M8GJ is mounted and operated
with junk we found on site, since all gear was lost with our missing container. We
control elevation with ropes and bricks we carry around.

Actually, this photo was arranged during day later towards a moonset. You see what
our path looks like on MS. The shoot to MR over ocean is really nice! dont have a
picture uploaded yet. May do it when we are back in KH6 next week and have better
internet.
6m is operated on T32C by Bob MD0CCE, Mike G3WPH & Michael DG1CMZ.
