[50mhz] [VHF] Name this sound

I had been told that 50.290 was the preferred digital modes frequency,
is 50.260 reserved for weak-signal and 50.290 for PSK31 and the like,
or was I given bad info and 50.260 is where I should anticipate finding
most digital traffic on 6?
