** Solar Cycle Prediction (Updated 2011/01/03) **

NASA has released a new forecast for solar cycle 24 on Jan 3rd.
This prediction for the next sunspot cycle maximum gives a smoothed sunspot
number maximum of only about 59 in June/July of 2013. This means that cycle
24 will be sunspot wise only half as strong as the previous one. All in
