[50mhz] [Yaesu] Radios in carry on luggage

Hi John,

I routinely carry a FT-857 in my carry-on briefcase. Never had a problem.
I did, however have a BIG problem when I packed it in checked luggage,
and my bag was stolen never to be found. An of course, no reimbursement
for radios by airline. MAN was that painful.

So I have carried it on ever since. Just pull it out and put it next to
your laptop in the plastic tray, or maybe a separate tray. But I
recommend putting it in the open to them. TSA has never even asked me
what it was.
