This is from K7BV.  It is great to see that Dennis has recovered and is well 
enough to undertake such an aggressive grid DXpedition.  Although there is usually 
very little Es activity at this time of year, please remember that many of these 
grids are within D layer scatter distance on western stations, and can be worked 
on weak signal digital modes such as JT65A.  Of course, in the mornings, they can 
be contacted on random meteors with FSK441:

Friends, I am finalizing my schedule for a Grid Trip April 19-28
that will include operations in DN00-01-02-03-04-11-12. I will
release the schedule tonight or tomorrow. I have noted that there
have been a few Sporadic Es openings during this period in past
years so I have my fingers crossed. I do believe, however, that this
trip may have to rely heavily - if not totally - on scatter....
any mode. Some of these operations will be on grid borders out in
Never Neverland. I sure could use some telephone numbers to call to
request a spot being posted on PingJockey and elsewhere because
Internet access will be out of the question.  If you are willing to
volunteer to assist, please drop me a private message with the
telephone number I can call and what days/hours are acceptable for
those calls. I will keep the telephone numbers totally confidential.
