Dale,
I noted the frequency and will monitor it. I'm in DM69em near Rifle
CO and have a 7/7 and PROIII but unfortunately I've got a S2-3 power
line noise in that direction. I need to remind them again that it is
still there! They fixed it once and it has come back. I'm listening on
50.073 in the USB position and just heard a loud "N" on apparent meteor
scatter.
Down this way take a listen for the K0EC/B on 50.067 DM69 in the SSB
position. It is on Vail Mtn at 11,250 ft and runs 45w to a combination
of vertical and horizontal antennas. I can also hear the other Colorado
beacons on 50.064 in DM79 and DM59. The bearing from here to your beacon
is 326 degrees and distance of 168 miles. I'd imagine without my noise
I'd hear it fairly often as I've got a great horizon to you but 12 to 18
Db of noise is pretty nasty.
    73 Phil N0KE DM69em
