Hi Tim,
Looking at the map, you're about the same distance from Europe that I am
here in DM41, but the path is obviously a bit different. Over the next 20
years I hope to work as many of them via Es as you have.

I hear so many coments from the midwest and atlantic seaboard states crying
about "Being in a black hole", etc.... Try being in Nevada as far as "Too
Far
West" for big openings to Europe!
It took 20+ years of trying along with the luck of getting up at early,
turning on
the rig, and pointing N NE for me to finally experiance a opening to EU
from
NV.
Even then at only 80W out I am amazed at working a total of 8 countries,
CT1, ON4, 9A1, PA0, EA6, SV1, IK5, & E70.
I even heard a EA8 on SSB and by the time I realized what was happening
and
started calling him the opening was done or I would have finished 6M WAC
from
NV.
And before my critics counter with "well you get Alaska and Japan"... that
doesnt even compare to all the DXCC entities in EU, AF, NA, and SA
within typical range of W1,2,3,4,8, & 9.
Its thanksgiving guys... be THNAKFUL for what you have....
73s and DX in 2011 de Tim - K7XC - DM09nm... sk
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
