This might make for a more useful exercise than trying to
contact ET ...

What sort of linked-network of Hame stations would be required?

Perhaps an app that is activated when the NWS detects storms
and takes readings and sends them via APRS or something to a
central location?

Do we need some strategically located stations with certain
types of antennas and perhaps amplifiers to generate beacons?
