[50mhz] Review?

I hope it's not in the review stage yet. The last  few yr.s  August had Eu openings to here in EM 56. 
This is my 4th  summer on 6m. We had a great opening one June Sunday this yr. Then  three weeks later a lesser Sunday opening. I worked some new ones in Eu. Finally got a G but also to the North I wrkd OH & SM. Also got I, 9A, E7 & LY. I heard & worked my first U. Ukraine. 
We had one great opening  in June to S America. That day OA4TT  was Q5 for 3 hours! 
My friend W4HLR built me a 5 ele. yagi I put up to replace the 3 ele I had. It seems to make a difference. 
The past 3 seasons it seems to me the openings were scattered  from May thru early August, This yr. June was great & July awful. We went  the 1st two weeks of July not even hearing ANY beacons anywhere.
I set a goal of 10 new countries for this season. I have 18 so far so it's been  more than I ever expected. I thought July would be the same as June  but  it's been a total bust.But I have no complaints.
The June contest was great but little DX.  I think I wrkd  apx 150 grids that weekend on 6m. The July contest was a lot less. Only had 50% of the contest where 6m was open. Never heard any of the Florida guys. Unusual from W Tenn.
Again, I have no complaints. I hope next summer is even better & more smooth thru several  months.
I did  work another JA this June. Amazes me the band won't have any Carribeans or EU then I hear Japan. It  is a magic  band ....
