Nope, not without a big SWR jump... we were having this discussion on a
repeater builder list last week. The 4 MHz width at 50 MHz is too broad to
get one antenna to resonate well across the whole band. You'll need at least
two emitters, one tuned around 50.200, the other tuned around 52.00.
Plus the fact that most of the stuff on the low end is horizontally-polarized SSB
or CW (or even AM), while the 52.00 spectrum is mostly FM and thus
vertically-polarized.
IMHO, of course. :-) I'd like to see someone market a broadband 6m
vertical myself. :-)
