Sorry Bill, senior Brain Fart!

OK so your gain quote in that article is arbitrary and it should really then 
be in dBd + ground gain. I always like to use dBi in the modelling phase as 
its easier to compare with other designs.

Ive no idea what my ground gain is, N6BV modeled this hilltop for his TA 
program which was included in later YO's but it was limited to HF. He was 
obsessed with my always getting better signal reports when we would corral 
an unwary DX station and go thru the various stack switching comparisons.
