You DO understand the difference between input and output power dont you? You DO understand the efficiency ratings of a Class AB1 amp DONT YOU?
The amp specs above are from the Johnson catalog.
Some hams will always try to squeeze another 100W or so out of 4CX250's without regard to the resultant very poor SSB IMD and others on the band.
In stock form the T-Bolt is not very good on IMD anyway. Ive rebuilt several for customers with the G3SEK tetrode boards which is a big help.

One follow up point from page 2 of the manual files...
ftp://bama.sbc.edu/downloads/johnson/6n2amp/01.gif
This, and my testing are what I used as the basis for my views.
Thanks & 73,

Carl,
I only have run it to 800W, but it clearly could do more and there are
several who have noted the higher power level for theirs.
In any case, I'm flexible on the price, as I don't want to just sit another
five years until I can get a new QTH and ham shack.
Thanks & 73,

ThunderboltAmplifier
If that puts out 1200W in stock form I'll eat it. More like 600-700W
with 4CX250B's, less with the original 4X150A's.
Its not that rare an amp and they show up regularly in various
conditions.
