My 3rd June contest & I enjoyed it.....mostly. As an HF DXer [355] I'm used to knowing my propagation. If I'm hearing something I can estimate if the time it will be weaker/stronger. 6m is a different animal. I see something called  in a few grids away & I may never hear it. Frustrating. On the other hand when 6m is jumping there's no band like it.

This wkends contest was very good here. Saturday 6m was open to the East Coast, Florida & southward. I wrkd 6 Carribean countries. J39 was a new all timer ..#45. I hrd. several Venezuela & Brazil stn.s but no QSO. Sunday the prop. went west to 6,7 & 0 land. I hrd. KH6 but mostly ESP tho'. No QSO.

5 hr.s before the end Sunday 6m just went away & never returned. The frustrating part. Ended with 193 Qs & 88 grids. Not bad for 100w & 3 el Cushcraft at 55'. My new K3 wrkd flawlessly.
