So true! I hope it stays nice and dead for the next couple of days. Don't want 
it to peak too soon.

That said, I think this IS about the worst early season (May/June) I can 
remember since I started on the band in 2003, certainly for the western US. I 
see a LOT more openings on DX Sherlock in the eastern US than I do in the 
western, that's for sure. And so far, no double-hop at all this season from New 
Mexico.

If the ARRL VHF is a dud, hopefully the season will be a late bloomer and the 
CQWW will be a total blowout. :-) Here's hoping.
