Andy,
dont know if you sold the rig yet or not but wanted to let you know; the PA brick used in it is the same as the TS680 and other 10watt 6m rigs..and WILL do 25+ watts if used carefully!
I have turned up my TS680 AND FT690RII rigs to 25watts FM and ~40w PEP SSB out with no issues...did the TS680 in the late 1980s and its still going strong!!!
Just cant sit on the mic for 10+ minutes or so at a time...gotta be less than a long winded op...but for normal users, they will see higher out with no issues.
