Sawwy, I am a CW addict and I like my transmitter "Clicky". I have the
following

     (2) Icom IC-706mkiiG Transceivers 1.8 mHz - 450 mHz
     (1) Icom IC-756proiii Transceiver 1.8 mHz - 54 mHz
     (1) Icom IC-7000 Transceiver 1.8 mHz - 450 mHz

I can do QSK (Full Break-In) and adjust the rise time on the Icom
IC-756proiii
transceiver and the Icom IC-7000 transceiver. I set the rise time to
the fastest
allowed (2 milliseconds), as my experience has shown that firmer CW gets
through,
when mushy (soft) CW does not get through during weak signal conditions.

p.s. Your clicks may be generated by front end overload in the
monitoring receiver.
