[50mhz] Newbie Question

If your rig has a transverter output, the risk of blowing it up is low. I use a homebrew transverter on my Icom 745, and the transverter plugs into the back of the rig with an RCA plug, using the transverter jack on the Icom itself. The HF antenna remains hooked up to the Icom at all times. The Icom delivers only a few milivolts key down to the transverter output, which is not very much power. Of course, what I know about other rigs is about zero, so maybe I should just keep quiet. :-)
