Never used it on 2m that I can remember, but here is my question-if this is just a 6m dipole that works as 2 stacked 5/8 waves on 2m, will any 6 meter dipole also work like this? I have the materials in the back yard right now to make a 6m dipole and will probably do it if I can use it on 2 meters as well-at least until I get a decent 2m beam back up.

Hello John,

I can't recall ever trying a dipole on 2m, but I have built a straight quarter
wave whip (no loading coils) for mobile use on 6m, and I can tell you that it also
does work fine on 2m. GL and VY 73, Lance
