The amplifier features a brand new Taylor 3-500 tube  with a heavy duty doubler rectifier/filter capacitor PC board with a custom wound HD plate transformer and a front panel standby switch. Develops 3600VDC plate voltage. Without any effort, offers the following output power levels:10w drive 300w output; 20w/500w;50w/900w;100w/1200w. Features a manual 3 position rotary stepstart switch and a front panel input tune control for perfect 1:1 SWR.The tank circuit is broadbanded and boasts 1 mHz excursions w/o retuning;and perfect for chasing DX. Operates on 220VAC only!
