[50mhz] Band opened for a short spurt

Sure is -- 

Had to go out just as an opening developed for us in NM to the north. At one
point just before I left the house, we were hearing four different CW
beacons in Montana at 599+, yet nary a human-being type ham could be raised!
Maybe they finally turned on their radios after I left... :-)
