There have been lots of problems with that old site. However, fortunately, most of
the active 6m stations around the world are gravitating to the ON4KST pages because
they are so convenient.

If you ever want to check out the 6m band cndx at a glance, this page is really very
helpful, with chat, DX summit, maps of contacts, prop indicators, etc. etc.:

http://www.on4kst.com/chat/start.php

As you can see, there is a 6m/4m page for EU, and there is a 6m page for us over here
in Region 2. The example page shows how you can set up the custom page for your own
computer screen and preferences:

I usually monitor both the EU and REGION 2 pages when I am on the air. Please spread
the word - the ON4KST pages are really a very handy way to track the openings and
watch the band cndx. The thing I especially like about them is that if I type "/cq
callsign" for example before entering a message to someone on line with the callsign
I have typed in, they will see the message highlighted in bright red on their screen,
so it is very easy to get people's attention even if the chat page is very crowded.
In fact, in the MENU on the upper left of the screen, you can change your settings so
you also get an audio alert (as well as the visual alert) if somebody is trying to
get your attention.

Hope to see you all on 6m Es soon! We have some great tools available to us now with
the internet, so hopefully there will be many more successful contacts during openings!
