I have an older and the latest versions for 2M as well as MM for 222, 432
and 1296. They all require 10 to 100 milliwatts of drive and I use TS-830's
as the IF. The 3 lower bands run 10W output.

They work pretty well as is or with a GaAs FET preamp. Old tech but bullet
proof which is more than I can say for some other brands.

Subject: [50mhz] Microwave module transverter question

Has anyone had the experience in using a Microwave module transverter that
is capable of working on 10 to 2 meters and 2 meters to 10 meters?

I think it requires 10 watts to drive//

Thanks
Ed
