If one is going after home brew, I noticed in the current "Texas Towers" 
catalog, that they carry tubing in a number of sizes & thicknesses..

I had thought of them when I was considering home brew 6m loop, but 
opted for the ready made M2 HO Loop which performs much better than a 
hamstick, but not sturdy enough for regular mobile operation..
