[50mhz] Yaesu FT450 vs FT100D

I have asked this question before with very few
responses, so I am hoping that the passage of time has
allowed more people to make this comparison:

How does the Yaesu FT450 compare with the Yaesu FT100?
 I am especially interested in receiver performance
and noise handling capabilities.  Would going from a
FT100D to a FT450 be a real upgrade in performance?
