Actually, I think this is in line with what the USPS did back in the
1980's when they started raising the first class rates almost yearly.
Recall the "letter" stamps? I still have some somewhere, I have some
"B" and "C" stamps here, I think.
The problem with them was that, because they did not state the price
on the stamp, they were good only in the USA, and not to be used for
any international mailing.
I haven't found out for sure if these new stamps can be used for
international mailings yet or not. Anyone here know for certain?
