Low Pass TVI filters For Sale:
Add one of these filters to your transmitter to prevent TVI or RFI.
All filters have an SO-239 connector for input and output.
Drake TV-1000-LP Low pass filter
This is the filter that is in the copper case, and may also
be used on the low end of six meters, as well as HF. It is
a 50 ohm filter and is good for 1000 W below 30 MHz, and
about 200 W up to 52 MHz. With paper work for $ 30
B & W Model 427 (also known as FL-6/1500) low pass filter
This filter can be used on six meters, plus the HF bands. It is
similar to the 425 filter, except it cuts off at 55 MHz, and has
at least 70 db attenuation, with maximum attenuation at 64
MHz. It is a 50 ohm filter and will handle 1500 watts.
This particular filter is still in its original box. I do not think it
was ever used. $40
Bencher YA-1, high power, low pass filter
If you need a more heavy duty filter for the output of
your amplifier, this one is ideal. It will take full legal
power, and has at least 80 db signal attenuation at
TV channel 2. It is also in a very sturdy metal case
with SO-239 connectors on each end, and is a 50
ohm filter.
This one works great, and looks almost like new.
These are over $85 new, but this one is only $60.
Drake TV-3300-LP Low Pass Filter
This is a modern low pass filter to go between your
transmitter and antenna, and has been optimized to
have more attenuation in the 40 MHz region, where
many TVs have their IF. It is good for 1000 Watts
"average" according to the manual, and has over
80 db attenuation at 41 MHz. SO-239 connectors
on each end. This one looks great, and also has
the single page "manual" with it. $ 30
B & W model 425 (Also know as FL-10/1500) low pass filter
B & W TVI filter, 50 ohm. It cuts off just above 10 meters,
and will handle 1500 Watts. SO-239 connector on each end.
Maximum attenuation is at 52 MHz, with at least 70 db across
the band.
This is an older model that seems much heavier duty. It weighs
almost twice as much as the newer model, and looks like it
would take more power. It likely was made in the days that
plate modulated AM was the rule. Paper work included. $35
Drake TV-5240-LP low pass filter
This filter is different than the typical low pass filter. Instead
of being long and skinny, the enclosure is about 5 inches
square. It says "For use in 52 ohm line of transmitters operating
below 30 Mc." printed on it. It is rated for 1 KW AM, so should
be good for 3000 watts PEP SSB. $30
Nye Viking Low Pass Filter Model 020-001
This filter is rated at 2000 watts, with over 65 db of attenuation
above 57 MHz. In extremely nice condition for only $35.
Johnson Nye Viking 250-20 Low Pass Filter
This is a 52 ohm cylindrical low pass filter with a cut off
frequency of 45 MHz and 75 db of attenuation.
It is rated to take 1000 Watts of AM, or 5000 Watts
PEP SSB. It has SO-239 connectors on each end. $35
Alinco ELP-60 D LX low pass filter
For 50 ohm systems, with up to 500 watts of power.
This one has an SO-239 on one end, and about a 2 foot
length of coax and PL-259 on the other end. $30
Ameco LN-2 low pass filter
This filter is rated at 100 Watts, with an SO-239
connector on each end. $12
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
