In the early hours of this morning, the FM end of the band was 
breaking squelch on a trunk trakker that I use to monitor 6m conditions..

In the 15 min. it took me to get to the radio in my truck, the band went dead..

Hopefully the ARRL Field Day will bring more converts to 6m if the 
band opens.  Both Houston, Tx. clubs I belong to, plan on a dedicated 
6m radio at their Field day Locations..
