If you decide to go to CY0, PLEASE consider taking a 6m amp (such as an
ACOM 1000 HF/6m amp) and a lightweight and compact yagi such as an M2
6M7JHV yagi. That is a very successful and proven station for working
6m EME, and looking out over the ocean should be a SUPER location for
good ground gain! If you decide to go at a good time of month for EME
(which I can plan for you, if you wish) I would be happy to advertise it
worldwide through the 6m EME community.
I worked CY9 on 6m EME a few years ago, and am very anxious to make a
contact with very rare CY0 also! Good luck and please keep us posted!
