The Lunar PAI50B was a receiver preamp designed by Chip Angle, N6CA,
which used a grounded-gate FET and had a Noise Figure of 1.6 db, a gain
of 11.0 db and a 3 db bandwidth of 2.5 mHz. The "B" suffix indicates it
was fitted with SO-239 connectors. It drew 10 ma @ 12 Vdc Now I never had
one, but I do have a Lunar 9M10-120P, a 120W amp that has a built-in
preamp. As the specs are the same as those of the PAI50, I would assume
it's the same preamp. If so, the transistor is a U310 which -- I think
-- was possibly made by Siliconix. Unfortunately I have no values for the
components as they varied with the frequency range. The two trimmer caps
are 3-20 pf and 1-7 pf.. Hope this is of some value.
