As a follow-up comment, you may hear on the grapevine that the OMNI-VII has
6M problems. It is true that there were 6M transmit problems in the first
units shipped, but all these problems were addressed and fixed. Currently
shipping units do not have problems on 6M.

I expect this to be a fantastic 6M radio because of its outstanding dynamic
range characteristics and very low noise floor (-140 dBm with preamp on).
Lab bench results from Sherwood Engineering show it to be superior to the
Icom IC-756 Pro III in 3rd-order intermodulation dynamic range (DR3) with a
measurement of 80 dB at 2 kHz (close-in) signal spacing. Only the Ten-Tec
Orion and Orion-II are meaningfully better among current production radios.
