Leroy,
Don't let 10 watts slow ya down.. I have made MANY contacts with only 10
watts using my old TS680 (now upped to 25watts  and also supplemented by my
new FT857D ;) Getting the antenna outside will give you a 12db or more
increase...thats like running your power up to almost 200watts compared to
your current setup and it WILL help your rcv end just as much! Hope you can
get the antenna outside for the next opening (vertical, dipole OR a beam if
you can..I built a 4 element yagi out of thin wall conduit and EMT as a kid
many years ago...worked like a champ). The openings seem to be coming daily
right now so you have plenty of chances. Welcome to six! I hope you enjoy it
as much as I have for the last 30+ years of being on 6m. Don't give up on
the magic band...it will give you the best fun of your ham experience at
times!
