I just have to post this....
I recently moved and lost a few parts on one of my OA-50s...considering I am
now back in my hometown grid of EL39, and there are people out there
drooling for me to get on the air (down, Bill!! I am working on it :), I
contacted Dale at PAR to inquire about the costs, etc. Dale answered me
within minutes of my query (this at 10PM AT NIGHT!) and the price was sooo
small, he offered to send on honor system...well, I went and paid him via
Paypal.....and tonight at 10:15pm I get an email from him letting me know
the parts are ready to be shipped. I love customer support like that! I know
Dave at OAL is on these lists and he is always ready to help, too....

now, if only the REST of the ham manufacturers (as well as any dealer
period) would be half that good.....gotta love it ;) Look for my OA50s to go
up soon..one of the house and one at the remote base site (may run two
there!) with my modified TS680 running off the 440 rptr/RLC3 combo....so it
will have EL39 active on SSB and FM too!

BTW for all those on six, I will be mobile in the morning heading to New
Iberia, LA (mostly in EM30 and then EM40 near Lafayette, LA but just south
of NI is EL49; I will go there also to visit my company UHF rptr site)...I
will be on 50.125 mobile with the 857D......if you want EL39/49 and EM30/40
while I am mobile, look for me all day tomorrow!!)
