I consider anything I don't normally hear on 6 DX :) but that opinion
varies...If the station is calling CQ DX at .125, that seems somewhat wrong
since there is 50.110 to call and work DX...If anyone is calling CQ period,
I give them a call to see if they want to work me..if not, they will likely
ignore me...but I have yet to have that happen (now being in EL39)

I usually keep them short but do many of them. You never know when the band
will open (or close!)
> is there a calling freq. on 6 mtr. cw similar to 50.125 for fone?
Not really...most CW activity stays in the 50.09-50.1 range though some
folks go down to 50.08, the top end of the US automated beacon band, OR go
above 50.10 (I heard a CW qso on 50.113 last week!). Maybe we should start
suggesting 50.09 as the CW calling freq...but personally, I just get on and
call CQ and then if noone answers, tune around (Listening to the beacon
subband or watching TV2-3 for signals/herringbones helps)
Hope that helps..and will be looking for you on 6!
