Well, the band is open right now in much of the midwest! The best
suggestion is to watch the 6m chat pages to see when the band is
opening, and watch where the mid-points of existing QSO's move, to gauge
if/when you might get an opening. The Es clouds typically move WNW at a
couple hundred miles an hour and (unless they dissipate) you can watch
the direction of the contact change as the clouds move. GL and welcome
