[50mhz] Re: 680 NB

I actually used a 680 mobile for 6 meters...exactly
because the noise blanker was so good! I found the
690's to be pretty lame,and ended up running the '90s
audio through one of those Rat Shack dsp units, which
cleaned up the noise, but didn't help whant the AGC
got swamped...

I'm using an Icom 706 now, but only for the
convenience...I still use a Yaesu FT-7 for HF...it has
a decent NB as well
