[50mhz] Noise Blanker in TS680

A couple of years ago I overhead two big 6 meter stations talking on .125 and one mentioned a radio that had the best NB he had ever seen.  I missed what radio he said so I emailed him to ask, and he said it was the Kenwood TS680.  As someone who lives in a noisy location, I am always interested in trying radios with good noise blankers.  Just picked up a TS690 and its NB is fair at best.  From those of you who have used them, does the Kenwood TS680 really live up to the reputation of having an outstanding NB?
