[50mhz] Wanted: Beacon xmitter

Instead of looking for a transmitter, why don't you try a RF signal
generator, as there are a lot of them on ebay, both tube and
solid-state, most will cover 6 meters, and usually encompass
some form of modulation if desired, and some can even be crystal
(xtal) controlled frequency. You can even adjust the power output,
and to match the impedances to an antenna, a simple tuner could be used.

Heathkit cheapies or HP expensive come to mind right off the bat.
