Bob,
There really is no singel "calling" frequency on 6 meters for CW operation.
While by convention, most cw takes place from 50.000 - 50.100 mhz, with the
vast majority of it to be found between 50.070 - 50.100, there is actually
no regulation which prohibits CW operation ABOVE 50.100 mhz. Thus, during
large Sporadic E- openings, you may actually hear CW above 50.100 mhz.
However, the "gentleman's band plan" agreement requests that CW activity is
done below 50.100 mhz, and that 50.100 - 50.125 is the DX window (meaning
outside of the continental United States), with 50.125 mhz being the
domestic calling frequency.
73 and have fun on 6 !
