[50MHz] QSO's and band openinings

>From my experience, many of the "hit and run" operators hang out at the
lower end of the band, around 50.125.  If you go up the band a ways,
you'll find the ragchewers.  I usually find them up around 50.160 on up.

I enjoy both collecting grids and ragchewing.  So, when a particularly
intense opening occurs, I always try to get a little of both in. 
Agreed, though, if you talk long enough the band could drop right out
from under you and that's the end of that.

Now ... ragchewing on the call frequency ... another topic altogether.
